Happy B Corp Month!
The March 2023 Newsletter —
This March we’re celebrating B Lab’s We Go Beyond campaign to encourage business owners to take action to transform the economic system. As a Certified B Corporation, we’ve made a commitment to operating with a purpose greater than profit. We encourage all business owners to take steps towards positive community and environmental impact because together we can change the world!

546 website launched
One step closer to that 550 milestone! Take a look at our website launch highlight from the past month:
The Armature at Hanover Works is currently under development as a new framework for urban living. Once a mechanical garage and surface parking lot for Portland’s fleet of public works vehicles, the building was vital to keeping the city moving every day. Today it’s being rebuilt as an apartment building featuring 171 expertly designed homes.
While the building is currently under construction, it will be open for pre-leasing soon. To learn more about this up-and-coming hub of urban living or to join the email list for updates, head to their website.
Big month for volunteer work
Even before we became a certified B Corp, iBec was (and continues to be) a team that cares about making a difference in the community around us. This past month our team spent over 20 hours helping out a number of great causes. You can also head to our blog post to read about the great things some of our purpose-driven clients are up to!
Caring Unlimited offers individualized safety planning services to anyone impacted by domestic abuse; supporting thousands of individuals each year throughout York County through a number of programs offered free of charge and accessible 24 hours a day.
Head to Caring Unlimited’s website to learn more about their programs, services, and ways that you can help support their efforts.

This past February, Becky McKinnell, the founder and CEO of iBec Creative, was featured as the moderator of the event, alongside panelists, Jocelyn Kamikazi from Burundi Star Coffee, Linda Varrell from Broadreach PR, and Hannah Freeman from Cove Natural Medicine.
