iBec Turns Sixteen and We Celebrate Four Work-aversaries
Shining bright, reaching new heights
Happy summer solstice! With so many wonderful things happening at iBec Creative this past month, the sun reaching its highest point in the sky hits home literally and metaphorically. We’re enjoying these warm, bright days with our summer Fridays, where we all power down our computers at 3 o’clock and head out early to enjoy the weekend! Don’t worry, you can always reach us at help@ibeccreative.com if there’s an emergency.
It’s official: We’re B Corp Certified!
While we’ve been walking the walk for awhile now, we can officially say that we are B CORP CERTIFIED! The journey to certification has been long but we know the hard work is far from over. Our commitment to doing and being the right thing for our clients, employees, and the environment is ongoing.
Wondering what it means to be a Certified B Corporation™? A quick excerpt from our most recent blog post celebrating our certification:
“Certified B Corporations™ are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose, all verified through extensive requirements. These Certified B Corporations™ do right by their employees, customers, suppliers, the environment, and social initiatives. It’s not a short-term accolade, but instead commits companies to long-term positive impact by building it into the company’s legal structure. iBec Creative joins 11 other Certified B Corporations™ in Maine, including Allagash Brewing Company, Revision Energy, GWI, Androscoggin Bank, and Wicked Joe Coffee.”

Our 529th website launch: Maine Golf
Following their rebrand, we partnered with Maine Golf, Maine’s leading advocate for amateur golf for the past 100 years. Featuring a custom built course finder, the site is a hub for all things golf in the state of Maine. We designed and developed the site with their vision in mind: to help people discover themselves and the State of Maine through the game of golf.
Their mission: Strengthen today’s game, launch tomorrow’s, and lead the collective effort to grow the game of golf in Maine
Head to their website to find a course, local competitions, the rules of golf, and more!
Non Profit Spotlight: Nicole’s Run
Hosted by Caring Unlimited, this year is the 15th annual Nicole’s 5K Run. iBec donated our time to designing fresh assets to help support the promotion of their fundraiser.
From their website: “Nicole’s Run/ Ellie’s Walk has always honored and remembered the past, while focusing on building a safer future for individuals experiencing domestic abuse and violence by ensuring that Caring Unlimited’s full range of free, confidential services are available to anyone who needs them, whenever they need them.
By running, walking, and fundraising for this year’s 5K you are helping support and create programs that help families experiencing domestic abuse and violence through whatever uncertainties they face.“

Being 16 has never been so sweet
Sugar, spice, and everything nice, that’s what the past 16 years at iBec are made of! We celebrated in style (and lots of pink). If you missed the party, here are some highlights:
