How to Get Customers to Review You Online
Online reviews enhance your credibility and increase your search engine rankings and conversions. 90% of respondents in a recent survey said that positive online reviews influenced their buying decisions and 86% said their buying decisions were influenced by negative reviews. But what if you don’t have any reviews at all?
Here are 3 tips on how to ask your customers to review you:
1. Make it as easy as possible to give reviews
In your thank you or follow up message to your client, place a direct link to a review website that is right for your company (For example, if you are in the hospitality industry, TripAdvisor or Yelp may be more appropriate).
2. Be direct in asking for reviews
Here are some example phrases: Your feedback matters to us and our prospective customers, so wed love it if you could take a few moments to review your experience working with us, or Have you ever read online reviews? We do, along with our other clients. Wed really appreciate it if you take a few moments to review your experience.
3. Provide options for posting reviews
Not everyone prefers the same channels for sharing their reviews. Give your customers options for where they can leave their reviews:
- Google Reviews
- Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc.
- Facebook Reviews
- Product reviews directly on your site (for eCommerce websites)
So, in practicing what we preach, it would make our day if you shared a review of your experience with iBec!
